The Chrome OS Gallery app is an appendix to the Files app. It allows Chrome OS users to modify, crop and enhance their images. The revamp also bring cloud sync which goes along with the fairly recent RAW file support. Now you can extract and modify RAW files right from an SD card and back it up automatically to Drive.
