September 2016 marked the realease of Chrome Material design on Windows' stable channel. This was the last step of the three phases deployement of Chrome MD. By default, only the regular layout is available. Users interested in testing the "Hybrid" layout can activate it in about://flags, under "UI Layout in the browser’s top chrome" and by setting it to "touch".
